Saturday Sampler 2014 is here! If you aren't familiar with our Saturday Sampler program, you should be. It's a block of the month program where we use Marti Mitchell templates to create 12 different blocks over the year. So after the year is done you have 12 blocks so you can quickly whip together a sampler quilt!

The cost for Saturday Sampler is only $40 for the whole year! Our programs has different sessions which you commit to at the beginning of the year. You need to show up for your session once a month on the third Saturday morning of month or the Friday evening that precedes it. You show up for your sesions on time with your block finished, you listen to Maret talk about what's new and exciting at the store and you get your block pattern and fabric kit for the next month! If you're unable to show up for your chosen session, you show up late or don't have your block completed it's $10 to get your block for that month.

This year's pattern and colorways are gorgeous and the staff is having a hard time picking out which colorways we're going do. For most of us, we'll sign up for two or three colorways! :) If you have any questions about Saturday Sampler, you can leave comments here or call/stop by the store to ask us!

Also as a side note, we're going to close at 3pm on Wednesday November 27th and we'll be closed on Thanksgiving November 28th. Enjoy your Thanksgiving day!

As of Monday, November 11th we've been in our new store! It was a long weekend as we never closed during regular hours, but this week has been so rewarding. We're loving our new location, the natural light we get now, the shorter walk from the parking lot to our store, and the list goes on and on! The feedback we're getting from our customers is upbeat and positive as well! We have a guest book for any visitors to sign and leave a message. The comments are so wonderful and uplifting and we'd love to hear feedback from you! Also feel free to leave any comments here on the blog as well.

Throughout this move we know our customers are what make our business so great and we love the excitement you've had about this new location and our final building. We want to create a wonderful and inviting place for you to shop and sew and we hope you love this store as much as we do! And just remember, the final building will be even BETTER!

A quick move update/reminder before we get to the fun stuff! This is our last weekend in the University Center Mall. We are open all weekend for normal hours and we will close on Sunday November 10th at 5pm. And on Monday November 11th we'll open up at 10am at 2375 East 63rd Avenue! If you have classes with us that are on November 11th or after, please remember to join us at our new store! Thank you for being such wonderful and loyal customers through this move and we hope you enjoy our temporary store!
